A culinary herb growing collective sold their first fresh herbs to a single new restaurant of "Four Star" caliber in 1979. By 1983, Herb Gathering Inc. was supplying other restaurants, country clubs, and one grocery store. Today, fresh culinary herbs are supplied to 45 grocery stores in the Greater Kansas City area, every week of the year. Other herbal products are also available.
