» Package Size Information It received its name during the Song dynasty around 1078. This tea comes from West Lake region (Xi Hu) where it is plucked early in the spring. This tea is pan-fired in hot woks with great skill. The leaves are fan folded very flat and are greenish yellow. It takes 9.9 lbs. of fresh tea leaves to make 2.2 lbs. of dried, ready to brew, tea leaves. It takes 4 pluckers all morning to keep a tea master busy producing those 2.2 lbs. |
